Shakiness And Red Blotchy Hands

good reason to write to the Mortal Coil

E 'bad that these things almost always come from someone's death, but so much so that somewhere we have to learn ... is a bill in parliament EU on the safety of heavy vehicles, so as to make them less dangerous (stuff they want to mandate security cameras) ... the campaign to carry out these guys London, a couple of years ago they lost a rider just because of a huge truck ... It takes a lot of signatures of MPs to pass it EU (nearly 400), it would be nice for us, as well as quite a duty, to stand on our own MPs, here 'a letter samples and some addresses, other email (which are many) can be found here .

ride safe!

Honourable [name of MEP]

I would be very grateful if you could sign the Written Declaration 81 of the European Parliament on improving road safety by eliminating blind spots of trucks (heavy vehicles) .

Although they represent only a small percentage of traffic on European roads, heavy goods vehicles are involved each year in a disproportionately high number of accidents because of blind spots on the front and sides of the vehicle that prevent the driver to see cyclists and pedestrians.

legislation designed to increase rear-view mirrors on vehicles has not provided a solution to the problem. It is estimated that each year on EU roads 2 200 cyclists are killed and a large percentage of these deaths is due to heavy goods vehicles.

The solution is to install sensors and cameras on the trucks that, thanks to technological advances, are both practical and available at an affordable price. 81 The written declaration calls on the Commission to consider emergency and the installation of these applications of advanced emergency braking systems and lane departure warning.

its support for the declaration will help to put an end to avoidable accidents that cause deaths and injuries on the roads of Europe. I urge you to sign as soon as possible considering that the statement fell 17 February 2011.

Thank attention.

Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration,
